La Pintoresca Park celebrates 26 years of bringing families, friends and neighbors together on Saturday, May 28 with Family Fun Day, sponsored by the City’s Department of Parks, Recreation and Community Services (PRCS).
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., La Pintoresca Park kicks off the summer with the grand reopening of a new aquatic paddling pool, a skate park and a new basketball court. Family activities include a small play area provided by the Department of Public Health, Arts and Crafts with the Armory Center for the Arts, a skateboard exhibit, a bicycle repair shop, a tournament basketball court, laser tag, video game bus, older adult bingo and live entertainment by Monday Night Live Band.
Pasadena Police and Fire Department officers and firefighters will be on the grill cooking up free burgers and hot dogs for all to enjoy.
It’s a great way to meet new people or reconnect with old friends and celebrate one of Northwest Pasadena’s great parks together. You can bring a lawn chair or a picnic blanket to enjoy the outdoor concert.
