This sleek Alpha Romeo supercar is a testament to Italian design prowess

A concept imagined for the future of Alpha Romeo dominated by powerful electric transmissions, a sublime design sense and a commanding presence on the road, which eclipses any other supercar nearby.

Alpha Romeo is a living example of Italian craftsmanship when it comes to sculpting beautiful four-wheelers. The brand is in a class of its own with the fluid aerodynamic shape – left, right and center. For more than a century now, the Italian automotive giant has thrilled motor enthusiasts, creating an unflappable legacy. From the Alfa Romeo 8C series of the early 1930s and the 1750 GT sold until 1977, to the hot Alpha Romeo 33 Stardale, the 8C Competizione which debuted in 2007 or the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio unveiled in 2015.

The design language of Alpha Romeo cars is very different from other car stars in the world. They emphasize on-trend styling, throwback to the road and also use the latest technology to wrap riders in the utmost luxury and comfort. Above all, the brand is powered by the emotion of love as we have already seen with the Alfa Romeo GTS concept. Designer Klaus Dahlenkamp wants to up the design with his take on an Alpha Romeo supercar that’s a young lady eager to flaunt her beauty.

The concept bears a special resemblance to the Audi Skysphere and the Mercedes-Benz Vision AVTR. That flowing rear end, long side profile and futuristic wheels all coincide with design cues from the two flamboyant concepts auto pundits have been praising lately. The exhaust on Klaus’ concept design almost looks like a sharp ‘V’ – so edgy it could literally cut a paper in half. The front section has a commanding presence, while the super flowing center section is highlighted by the all-glass top which is an extension of the windscreen to the rear minus the pillars. This Alpha Romeo concept exudes the vibe of a unibody creation from front to back. To add to the flowing design, the electric supercar shines in the panoramic glass and metallic finish.

The designer interprets his Alpha Romeo concept in all black or vibrant red skin – which has been so familiar with the brand’s core DNA all these years. Would we like to see this manifesto become reality? The obvious answer is, yes!
