HAVEN spring/summer 2022 home collection lookbook

HAVEN does not do frills. The Canadian retailer’s Spring/Summer 2022 collection embodies this mentality, eschewing superfluous details in favor of uncompromising functionality.

Nothing new for HAVEN, in that regard.

Every season, the HAVEN in-house collection is refined at knifepoint, too sharp to allow for fleeting trends or clumsy flexible pieces.

The HAVEN clothing line instead offers utilitarian daily drivers encouraged by the world’s finest technical textiles. It’s a uniform, streamlined and perfected thing.

For Spring/Summer 2022, HAVEN is once again focusing on an earth-toned and neutral garment trim color palette with a heavy function on fashion ethos: think collarless shirts, hoodies, collarless cardigans and cropped carrot pants.

As usual, everything is made in Canada and often illuminated with subtle high specification application.

For example, the pullover jackets and pants are made from Schoeller’s Dryskin fabric, a tough, stretchy and breathable miracle that’s both wind and water resistant.

In addition to the lighter Schoeller Dynamic fabric, HAVEN also uses Coolmax woven base layers (ultra-breathable and lightweight), Solotex tropical wool (a poly/wool blend made in Japan that is quick-drying and highly breathable) and plenty of GORE-TEX as part of its ongoing partnership with the American manufacturer.

Specifically, GORE-TEX Infinium gives HAVEN’s SS22 gear maximum waterproofing and breathability, allowing the wearer to shrug off spring showers or summer downpours without suffocating under heavy layers.

Even the base layers are well thought out: Cut from suvin cotton, HAVEN t-shirts are just as soft and rugged, as simple as the military jackets, work shirts and cargo pants they’re designed to layer on.

All SS22 products will be launched on HAVEN’s online store and POS on April 7th
